Privacy Policy

KDO Services Inc ("we," "our," or "us") operates the AirBagWeight mobile application (the "App"). This Privacy Policy describes how we collect, use, and protect information when you use our App. By using the App, you agree to the practices described in this policy.

1. Information We Collect

We are committed to collecting only the minimum information necessary to operate and improve the App. We collect the following categories of data:

Anonymous Analytics Data

We use third-party analytics services provided by Google to collect anonymous usage data such as app feature usage, session duration, and general interaction patterns. This data does not identify you personally and is used solely to improve the App experience.

Crash Reports

We use third-party crash reporting services provided by Google to collect anonymous crash reports. These reports include technical information about your device and the state of the App at the time of a crash, such as device model, operating system version, and stack traces. This data helps us identify and fix bugs.

Feedback Submissions

If you choose to submit feedback through the App, we collect:

• The text of your feedback
• An anonymous device identifier
• Your device platform (iOS or Android)
• App version number
• Any images you optionally attach

Feedback submissions, including any attached images, are stored using cloud storage services provided by Google.

2. Information We Do Not Collect

We want to be transparent about what we do not collect. The App does not collect or transmit:

• Your name, email address, or any personal contact information
• Your location or GPS data
• Weight measurements or sensor readings
• Truck, trailer, or business information
• Financial or payment information (subscriptions are handled entirely by Apple or Google)

All weight data, sensor configurations, truck profiles, and trailer profiles remain stored locally on your device and are never transmitted to our servers.

3. How Your Data Is Stored

On-Device Storage

All App data, including weight measurements, sensor configurations, truck and trailer profiles, and calibration data, is stored locally on your device. We do not have access to this data.

iCloud Sync (Optional)

If you enable iCloud sync in the App settings, your App data is synchronized through your personal iCloud account using Apple's iCloud Key-Value Storage. This data is stored in your own iCloud account and is governed by Apple's privacy policy. We do not have access to your iCloud data. You can disable iCloud sync at any time in the App settings.

Cloud Storage

Feedback submissions and any attached images are stored using cloud storage services provided by Google. Anonymous analytics data and crash reports are processed and stored by third-party analytics and crash reporting services provided by Google, respectively.

4. Analytics and Crash Reporting

Third-party analytics and crash reporting services are enabled by default to help us improve the App. However, you may disable both services at any time by navigating to Settings > Privacy within the App and toggling off the analytics option. When disabled, no analytics data or crash reports will be collected or transmitted.

5. Third-Party Services

The App uses the following third-party services:

• Google LLC — anonymous usage analytics, anonymous crash reporting, and storage of feedback submissions
• Apple App Store / Google Play Store — subscription billing and management
• Apple iCloud (optional) — data synchronization via your personal iCloud account

6. Data Retention

Anonymous analytics and crash report data is retained in accordance with Google's data retention policies. Feedback submissions are retained as long as necessary to address the feedback and improve the App. On-device data is retained on your device until you delete it or uninstall the App. iCloud data is retained in your iCloud account until you delete it or disable iCloud sync.

The App is intended for users aged 13 and older.

7. Your Rights

You have the following rights regarding your data:

• Opt out of analytics: Disable analytics and crash reporting at any time via Settings > Privacy in the App.
• Delete feedback: Request deletion of any feedback you have submitted by contacting us at the email address below.
• Export your data: Use the App's built-in export feature to export your weight history and sensor data.
• Delete your data: Delete all on-device App data by uninstalling the App. iCloud data can be removed by disabling iCloud sync before uninstalling, or by managing your iCloud storage through your device settings.

8. Security

We take reasonable measures to protect the limited data we collect. Analytics and crash data are transmitted securely using encryption in transit. Feedback data is stored with access controls in cloud storage provided by Google. However, no method of electronic transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

9. Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. If we make material changes, we will notify you by updating the effective date at the top of this policy and, where appropriate, by providing notice within the App. Your continued use of the App after any changes constitutes your acceptance of the updated policy. We encourage you to review this policy periodically.
